3D Scanned the bearing housing as the original part was worn out.

The customer opted to create the part as a fabrication, so a more suitable material could be used to lengthen the life of the bearing housing.

With previous experience of modifying original castings to fabricated parts, I created fabrication, final machining drawings and DXFs allowing for welding and stress reliving as well as making sure enough material was left for the final machining.
